Legal Permanent Resident
Yep, my green card/Adjustment of Status interview went well today, and they stamped my passport. My card (which is not actually green) should be in the mail in a few days.
Rather anti-climactic after all the stress and years of fussing with forms and crap, but still a very good feeling.

You've seen the Happy Dance so I don't need to tell you about the knocked over chair and flying reports in my cubie today. :)
My friends Pat and Cara asked me to pass on their congrats also.

Congrats! We went through this exact process a year and a half ago. Nothing can describe that "night before" stress - and nothing can describe the "thank god it's over" feeling after.

Its amazing how that stress builds up without you knowing, and then when its gone, you realize just how stressed out you were!
The "TO DO" list is shorter now ;-)
